We are excited to invite occupational therapy practitioners and students in Mississippi, Arkansas, and Alabama to an upcoming Black Occupational Therapy Caucus Interest Meeting.

This interest meeting is an opportunity to:

• Learn more about the mission and work of the Black Occupational Therapy Caucus
• Connect with occupational therapy practitioners, educators, and students across the region
• Explore what regional engagement and leadership could look like in Mississippi, Arkansas, and Alabama
• Share ideas, needs, and hopes for community building, mentorship, and advocacy

Whether you are new to the Caucus, curious about getting involved, or seeking a space rooted in connection and collective growth, we welcome you.

We are excited to announce that the Maryland Black Occupational Therapy Caucus has finalized the date for our first official chapter meeting!

Location: Maryland Occupational Therapy Association (MOTA) Annual Conference at McDaniel College

We will have a dedicated meeting space at the conference, and for those who are unable to attend in person, a virtual attendance option will also be available.

This inaugural meeting is an exciting opportunity to connect with fellow Black occupational therapy practitioners, educators, students, and allies as we begin building our chapter, establish priorities, and discuss future initiatives.
